The Omaha Memorial Adventist School family exists to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve.
The Omaha Memorial Adventist School is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. I am blessed to be the upper grades teacher at Omaha Memorial Adventist School. I am a proud product of Adventist education from 2nd grade until the end of my educational career. I graduated from Union College with a degree in elementary education in 2013, and graduated with a Master's degree in educational leadership from La Sierra University in December, 2021. I have had the pleasure of teaching for nine years in Adventist education, and this will be my third year here at OMAS. I enjoy traveling, reading, and sports. I was married this last January to the lovely Janette Lopez, or as the kids know her "Miss Janette." She is a major asset to our school. I am privileged to be able to share my love for Jesus with our students. I am excited to see how God works at OMAS this school year.
